Cosmopolitics as <<Cosmo-ethics>> : from Western universalism to common world policies

This paper aims to reconsider the concept of cosmopolitanism, usually used to express a lack of local linkages and the establishment of ties with common mankind. This concept has acquired a deeper meaning when used by Isabelle Stengers and, among others, by Bruno Latour (they explicitly refer to the term << cosmopolitics >>) to indicate a new policy that no longer fits in the modern solution of nature and society. The concept is also reviewed through the new paradigm that provides the so-called decolonial thought.
