摘要
Acetalizatioin of poly(vinyl alcohol)/soybean protein blend fibers(PVA-SPF) was studied. Dialdehydes were used as cross-linking agents to acetalize PVA-SPF. Latin square experiments were designed to determine the optimal acetalizing conditions: 41g/l dialdehyde A, 9min, 67 degrees C, where the tenacity of fiber was highest(3.76cN/dtex). FTIR spectra indicated the existence of cross-linking in acetalized PVA-SPF. Tensile test and boiling water shrinkage measurements showed that the physical properties of PVA-SPF crosslinked by dialdehydes were greatly improved comparing with those formalized PVA-SPF fibers.
