摘要
Corona is a typical physics process that may occur in the gas-insulated system of a high voltage apparatus. Studying on the physical mechanism of corona and detecting earlier to prevent corona from developing are helpful to improve the life time and reliability of the electrical insulated system. In this paper, a spectrum analysis system with high sensitivity has been set up, and corona spectra in air were obtained under several different discharge conditions. The results indicate that corona spectra consist of continuous spectrum, spectral bands and lines. Moreover, spectra have different characterstics in infrared, visible and ultraviolet regions, respectively. With the change of discharge conditions, the radiation intensity in each region changes differently. Compared with the results in the literature, it was found that the visible radiation intensity is usually weak, while ultraviolet and infrared radiation intensities depend on the discharge conditions.
