摘要
The objective of the presented work is to develop spatial and semantic queries on 3d geomodels. Analogous to 2d GIS-supported mapping projects, the analysis, checking and interpretation of 3d topological geomodels by the means of query can support the understanding of spatial geological relationships and validating the consistency of the geomodel. Discrete geomodels with a cellular topology based on Generalized Maps facilitate generic topological queries in arbitrary dimension. Moreover, geometrical queries including orientation-based queries can be posed to support geomodel analysis analogous to map analysis in 2d vector GIS. The spatial data model has been extended by geological semantics of the geoobjects. According to a novel yet standards-oriented data model, primary geological observation data can be referenced by multiple geomodels. Thus not just spatial queries but complex geological queries can be used for geomodel checking, analysis and interpretation.
