摘要
This paper designs a campus network according to the characteristics of the terrain in Inner Mongolia University. The outdoor area where contains the rockeries or lake uses the hybrid network mode of WiFi-Mesh through investing the specific features of terrain in campus. The routing protocol used in wireless mesh network is improved according to the characteristics of wireless mesh network and the situation of campus network based on AODV. In this paper, the simulation and optimization are implemented in OPNET. The simulation results show that the performance of network improves significantly in the improved AODV, such as the lower global delay, the higher throughput and the higher traffic received per second by gateway.
