摘要：
The removal of sulfide from oil wastewater containing a great number of chloride ions was studied with electrochemical oxidation technique using Ti/IrO2 anode. Electrochemical method was effective for the removal of sulfide from aquatic environment. It was found that current density can enhance the removal of sulfide. When the current density is 25 mA/cm(2), nearly 90.5% sulfide was oxidized at 10 min. To be completely oxidized, high initial concentration of sulfide required larger current density or more electrolytic time. It is generally realized that sulfide can be successfully cleaned by the electrochemical oxidation at Ti/IrO2 anode. (C) 2011 Published by Elsevier Ltd.
