摘要
Effective maintenance and monitoring in high-risk industrial system play a very crucial role. Monitoring of a system involves how the system works and how its sub-units are connected to each other? The interconnection of the units in a system is very important for the performance of the system. In this paper, authors tried to examine the various performance measures of a Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) by taking in consideration its different sub-parts like control roads, turbine, steam generator, pump, uranium fuel, generator, etc., and their interconnection in the NPP, with the aid of Markov process and supplementary variable technique (SVT). This work begins by reviewing previously conducted studies for NPP. Finally, the results are demonstrated by the graphs to understand the effect of various failures on the performance of NPP.
