摘要
In this paper, we use the optimal homotopy asymptotic method to solve the stagnation point flow and heat transfer. Comparison of results have been made with the numerical solutions obtain in [1]. Further, we investigate by our analysis the velocity field and temperature distributions carefully for various Peclets number. Our results show that this method provides us a suitable way to control the convergence of the series solution using the auxiliary constants which are optimally determined.
