摘要
In this paper, we formulate an optimal weight design (OWD) problem of elastic frame structure for a constrained relative story displacement as a statically indeterminate structure problem and solve it directly by keeping the constraints based on an improved genetic algorithm (iGA). We discuss the efficiency between the traditional optimum criteria methods and the proposed method. (c) 2007 Published by Elsevier Ltd.
