摘要
Based on their methods and tools, the Knowledge Engineering develops models to support the knowledge management processes. So, Knowledge Engineering and Knowledge Management are complementary and interdisciplinary areas, whose convergence has been accentuated in recent years. However, due to polysemy of some interdisciplinary concepts, the communication between knowledge engineer and manager is a critical issue. As a way to contribute to communication, there is the proposal for domain ontology of the convergence of two central concepts of the mentioned interdisciplinarity: the Knowledge Engineering Computational Agents and the Knowledge Management Instruments. This paper presents the developed ontology, which was verified by domain experts (knowledge engineers and managers), with the following reported results: a) a set of questions that guide the understanding of interdisciplinary research objects from Knowledge Engineering and Knowledge Management areas; and b) a way to integrate knowledge elements inherent to the application of Knowledge Engineering Computational Agents as technological solutions that are more adherent to the Knowledge Management Instruments.
