Self assembly of functionalized single-walled carbon nanotube

摘要
The self assemble film of single - walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) based on diazoresins bas been prepared on CaF2 and mica substrates. By functionalization, the ends of SWCNT were turned into the carboxyl group and carboxyl acid group, which can react with the diazo group of diazoresins via coulombic effect. The process of deposition of film on the mica substrate can be characterized with UV - vis spectra. The film is photosensitive. Under UV irradiation, the bond between carboxyl group and diazo group will change into covalent, which enhance the stability of the film. The photodecomposition of the film follows the kinetics of first - order reaction. The results of IR spectra prove the existence of the self assemble film of SWCNT and diazoresins on CaF2 substrates.
