摘要
Contribution to the simplified calculation of fire resistance design of concrete columns Fire resistance design of concrete columns, especially cantilever columns, is a contemporary issue, which affects engineers in research and practice. The approach called zone method is continually upgraded and matched to answer nonlinear calculation methods. In the presented paper it is investigated wether the upgrading is successful. The necessity of further verification of the zone method is discussed.
