摘要：
Many progressive companies use vendors and contractors to reduce their fixed cost and improve plant performance through performance contracting. Performance contracts differ significantly from other forms of contracting because the parties share specific business goals and objectives by setting up rewards for superior performance that increase plant profitability, reliability and/or availability.
