In this paper, I analyse Judith Butler's recent critics against the Cartesian scepticism and the posTmodem constructivism (indentified by Preciado and Haraway's works), in order to explain Butler's distance from constructivism and, at the same time, to assert the ethical and potentially universal dimension of her defence of the precarious lives.
