We study some decay estimates of the energy of the following nonlinear problem of Kirchhoff type: y " (t) - M(/dely(t)/(2))Deltay(t) - delta Deltay ' (t) = f(t) with the damping constant delta > 0 in a bounded domain Ohm in R-n, Here M(.) is some C-1(0, infinity) function.
