RCS Reduction of Antipodal Vivaldi Antenna

摘要
A novel Antipodal Vivaldi Antenna with low radar cross section (RCS) is proposed in this paper. By using flat corrugated slotline to replace exponential gradient curve on both sides of the antenna, the RCS in the endfire direction can be reduced in the operating band of 4.3 GI-U-12 GHz when the incident wave is perpendicular to the antenna plane. Mean while, the lowest operating frequency of the antenna is reduced from 4.3 GHz to 3.8 GHz, and radiation performance keeps stably.
