Theory of a strip antenna located at the plane interface between isotropic and uniaxial anisotropic media

摘要
Electrodynamic characteristics of a straight antenna having the form of an infinitesimally thin, perfectly conducting narrow strip located at the plane interface between isotropic and uniaxial anisotropic media are studied using the integral equation method. The emphasis is placed on the case where the anisotropic medium is nonresonant and does not admit the propagation of potential waves, in contrast to the earlier analyzed case of a resonant medium. It is concluded that the antenna characteristics turn out to be essentially different in the two cases.
