Study on the impact of green management of paper enterprises on carbon performance in the background of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality

摘要
Green development is an important direction of international economic and social development, and the green management practice of enterprises is the decisive factor to realize green devel-opment. This paper collected the data of green management and carbon performance of China paper enterprises through a questionnaire, from the perspective of measuring green management from management consciousness and management ability, applied the fixed-effect model to test the impact of management awareness and management ability on the carbon performance of paper enterprises, and explored mediation effect of management behavior of paper enterprises between management consciousness, management ability and carbon performance. The research results show that green management awareness and management ability positively affect carbon performance of paper enterprises; management behavior has a mediation effect between management awareness and management ability and corporate carbon performance; heterogeneity analysis shows that the positive impact of green management awareness and management ability on carbon performance varies due to establishment time, size, nature and regional differences.(c) 2022 The Author(s).
