The fabrication process of glass infiltrated alumina ceramics (in-ceram alumina) was investigated, such as changing powder/liquid ratio, pre-sintered temperature and forming method. The result indicates that the powder-liquid ratio of 7:1 sample has better bending strength, two-time infiltrated sample also has better bending strength than one time sample, and comparing with 1450 degrees C, the 1150 degrees C pre-sintered sample has better bending strength. Two-time infiltrated slip-casting sample with 7:1 powder /liquid ratio has a bending strength as high as 529.8 MPa.
