摘要
A design of energy dissipator has been developed recently that combines the features of three conventional designs, namely hydraulic-jump apron, slotted-bucket, and ski-jump energy dissipators. This paper, however, discusses the several factors that have not been considered in the design and that will pose severe problems in the structural design of various elements and also affect satisfactory operation of the structure.
