摘要
The fragmented literature of internationalization has not yet been structured in a coherent framework or model. Especially this is true about Sustainable internationalization of Hi-tech small firms. To build a comprehensive framework in this regard this research study involved collecting academic and peer reviewed articles that addressed the issue of Sustainable internationalization of Hi-tech small firms. The application of the inclusion and exclusion criteria on the 51 articles yielded eleven articles that were appropriate for the meta-synthesis. The results suggest sustainability themes are in six categories: economic, social, environmental, company specific factors, location, industrial factors and human capital.
