摘要
We observed strong electromagnetic absorption by the conducing fiber filled foam composite with a very low fiber concentration in a wide frequency range. The strong absorption in the millimeter-wave region can be attributed to the magnetic property which originates from the interaction of fibers in high frequency region. The experimental data are in good agreement with the theoretical computations. With the aspect ratio of the fiber increasing and the conductivity decreasing, strong absorption would emerge throughout the centimeter- and millimeter-wave regions. The conducting fiber filled composite can be employed to develop very light microwave absorbing materials with strong absorbing ability in wide waveband.
