摘要
This paper presents a study on the impact of grid code requirements for grid connection of wind power generator on power system stability. Particularly, the interaction between voltage stability and frequency stability for grid code regulations of various countries has been studied. Fault current prioritization, post fault active power recovery and load model are the major aspects considered in this study. The results under different grid code regulations are compared with conventional generation to assess the impact of the high wind power penetration on the system voltage and frequency stability. IEEE 39 bus benchmark system, developed in DIgSILENT PowerFactory has been used as test system for this study. Wind turbine generators are modelled as per IEC 61400-27-1 standard.
