Condensation of 2D electron-hole pairs with spin degree of freedom

摘要
We study theoretically a condensate of electron-hole pairs with different spin orientations. In a mean field description, both the energy and the chemical potentials of this system depend strongly on both the spin polarization and total density. The phase coherence induced by condensation of pairs is discussed. When electrons and holes are located in two separated planes, the system can be either totally spin polarized for a large separation or spin unpolarized for a small separation.
