摘要：

Working on the informal city is not only a technical commitment: it comes to addressing issues related to the living conditions of a part of society that is not able to express their needs in the housing market. The beginning of the 'Informal City Laboratory' has the purpose to try to reconstruct, through a wealth of experience, a disciplinary lexicon adapted to new research questions. The activities carried out so far have defined a road map towards the structuring of the 'Informal City Laboratory' of Pescara. The experience of 'Escola da Cidade' (Sao Paulo, Brazil) with the activation of the master `Habitacao and Cidade'.
