An energy saving improvement to hot air drying

摘要
Presently the hot air drying has the shortages of low drying efficiency, high energy consumption and poor drying quality. For improvement, a total drying design concept was proposed and developed which consists of more reasonable organization of drying hot air blowing through proper direction and induction and thus more perfect heat and mass transfer procedure under suitable hot air temperature difference and humidity extraction conditions. Design approach of improved drying oven, tunnel and chamber is presented and comparative tests were carried out. The prototype test results show that the suggested design method could effectively improve the drying efficiency and the drying quality and so could be recommended for extended application.
