A 17-year-old girl was diagnosed with an asymptomatic Wolff-Parkinson-White pattern just before a major orthopedic operation. Three months after the surgery, she developed ventricular fibrillation being the first manifestation of her Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome. The patient was successfully reanimated. radiofrequency ablation permanently interrupted conduction over a right posteroseptal accessory pathway. (C) 2012 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
