摘要
Thin layers of a perylene derivative, 3,4,9,10-tetra(heptyloxycarbonyl) perylene (PeC7), deposited on quartz and (0 0 1) silicon substrates were investigated by photoluminescence (PL) and absorption spectroscopy. A systematic study of PeC7's optical properties was performed in the temperature range from 13 K to 320 K. The PL and absorption spectra of PeC7 thin films were compared with those obtained for the corresponding solutions. The emission and absorption features of PeC7 were also compared with those obtained for pure perylene. (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
