摘要
In order to improve the transportation efficiency of bus arterial, a bus progression model based on the control of bus dwell time at stops and running speed is proposed in this study. Considering the operation status of the bus, the progression operation of bus is achieved by the collection of fundamental data on bus lines, bus operation and intersection signal control scheme, the preset of bus dwell time and the adjustment of the intersection signal control scheme as well as the real-time induction of bus running speed. Together with a case study, it is expounded in this study the implementation steps of this method. This method could be widely used in engineering practice because of its characteristic of easy operation and strong practicability.
