摘要
Membranes with well-designed pore distribution and surface properties have gained considerable attention in recent years due to their promising applications in the field of aqueous and organic solvent-based separation. Among the plethora of membrane materials, graphene oxide (GO) is one of the most promising materials taking account of its excellent chemical resistance and cheap and scalable synthesis procedure. Although GO has been widely explored for various liquid-based applications since its discovery, separation in organic media using GO membranes has started receiving considerable attention in recent years. This mini-review briefly presents different strategies recently implemented to tune the performance of GO-based membranes along with various challenges and opportunities to navigate future studies in this area.
