摘要
This paper proposes that in Umbral of Emar bolsters a poetics of "the unforeseen-fluidic", which exacerbates several avant-garde practices particularly, the futuristic motive of the omnipresence of speed. In this sense, his poetics is representative of what Bauman designates as "liquid modernity", connoted by the metaphor of "fluidity". This process of liquefaction, of "melting the solids", defines the narrative practice in Umbra!, understood as a deconstructive game both of the generic conventions of this work and of its narrative content. As regards the narrative format, the lineal sequence of the biographical sequence is broken by promoting both the total dispersion of subjectivity and an essential chronotopic rupture of the narrative genre. The continuous displacements and inversions of the binary oppositions of the modern epistemic respond to a conception of art comprehended within an aesthetic of negativity: that of the sublime.
