A new approach of laparoscopic treatment for interstitial pregnancy

Two patients with interstitial pregnancy were operated by gasless laparoscopy with an uneventful postoperative recovery. This laparoscopic treatment is simple, does not require extensive operative laparoscopic expertise, and is relatively short and less expensive than conventional laparoscopy with pneumoperitoneum. We suggest that gasless laparoscopy can provide sufficient healing and integrity of the scar by meticulous reapproximation of the myometrium and prevent uterine dehiscence in a pregnancy subsequent to cornual resection of an interstitial pregnancy.
