摘要
This study aims to develop a tool to evaluate and compare green performances of hotel supply chains. For this purpose, fifteen green criteria, which are then classified as basic green practices and advanced green practices, are extracted from related studies. Later, importance weights of these criteria are determined with the contributions of twenty hotel managers in Turkey. The results indicate that the basic green practices are regarded more important by the managers than the advanced ones. In addition, a fuzzy Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method is proposed to get a green performance score and a ranking for hotel supply chains. In this framework, it is also made possible to reveal the areas need to be improved for them to have a greater green performance. Finally, a numerical example is given to show the applicability and practicability of the proposed model. The results indicate that there is no single strategy to improve a hotel's green performance, but each hotel should analyze its own situation and then determine the most effective strategy accordingly.
