摘要
A method of ionospheric data presentation and an algorithm for processing these data based on the critical frequencies of the ionospheric F2 layer have been described in the problem of detecting probable ionospheric precursors of earthquakes. Based on a statistical analysis of data from Sofia ionospheric station, obtained during the preparation of some earthquakes in the Vrancea region (Romania), it has been shown that characteristic features in the behavior of the ionosphere above Sofia originate a day before earthquakes with a focal depth of 60-300 km and a magnitude of M >= 5.
