Genetic algorithm based multiuser detection for CDMA systems

摘要
A genetic algorithm (GA) based multiuser detection scheme is presented in this paper. The major advantage of the proposed multiuser detector is that it strikes compromise between computational complexity and bit error rate (BER) performance. Monte Carlo simulation results show the GA based multiuser detection scheme can regularly converge to the optimal solution with preassigned iteration generations. The BER performance of the proposed detector is close to the optimal multiuser detection bound and the computational time is polynomial complexity, which makes it a promising multiuser detection scheme.
