摘要
In this work, carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) gauze embedded silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) was successfully prepared by in situ formation of AgNPs in CMC gauze. The prepared AgNPs-CMC gauze was characterized by FT-IR, UV-vis and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The results confirmed the presence and crystalline structure of the AgNPs in the CMC gauze. The antimicrobial activity was evaluated by Gram-positive Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) and Gram-negative Escherichia coli (E. coli) bacteria, and the results indicated that the prepared AgNPs-CMC gauze showed excellent antibacterial activity, bacterial reduction was higher than 99.9% in 24h.
