Analysis of Current Situation and Prospect of Multimedia Technology in Physical Education of Chinese Universities

Through the questionnaire survey on the following five aspects: the developing status of multimedia teaching in physical education of Chinese universities, the construction progress of multimedia teaching technology in P.E. courses of universities, P.E. teachers' self-positioning in making multimedia courseware, multimedia courseware's distribution in physical education materials of universities, as well as the teaching effect of multimedia courseware in physical education of universities, the following conclusions can be reached: multimedia teaching technology has gradually become more and more important to physical educators in universities. Some universities have already begun to make attempts in multimedia physical education. Considering that, the paper has also constructively made prospective proposals for multimedia teaching technology in P.E. courses of Chinese universities.
