摘要：

The present paper describes the synthesis and structural features of some tin (II) complexes of some benzothiazolines derived by the condensation of various heterocyclic aldehydes and ketones viz. pyridine-2-aldehydes, furfuraldehyde, thiophene-2-aldehyde, indole-3-carboxyaldehyde, 2-Acetylpyridine, 2-Acetylfuran, 2-Acetylthiophene and 2-Acetylnaphthalene with 2-mercaptoaniline. The newly synthesized complexes have been characterised by elemental analysis, conductance measurements and molecular weight determination. The mode of bonding and geometry of these complexes have been suggested on the basis of IR, multinuclear magnetic resonance (H-1, C-13 and Sn-119), Mossbauer and electronic spectral studies.
