摘要
To improve the binding and osteogenic properties for the hydroxyapatite (HA) coating on Ti substrate, a ZnHA biological coating was prepared on commercially pure Ti by sol gel method after a treatment by micro-arc oxidation (MAO) to produce an porous titania (TiO2) coating on Ti. The morphologies and phases components of the coating were characterized by SEM and XRD. The release concentration of Zn2+ was measured by flame atomic absorption spectrometry. In vitro co-culture assays were performed to evaluate the cell proliferation and adhesion of MG-63 cells to the coated Ti. The proliferation rates of the cells were found to be significantly higher on the ZnHA/TiO2-2 and ZnHA/TiO2-3 coatings than that of the control group (HA) by MTT. It was confirmed by the fluorescence microscopy observations that the osteoblast like cells on the hybrid coating were favorably adhered and spread. The results suggest that the ZnHA/TiO2 hybrid coatings on Ti implants should possess better binding property and biocompatibility.
