Traditional products and recent results in radionuclides and related products syntheses of V.G. Khlopin Radium Institute are presented, The main directions of Radium Institute's activities are the following: biologically active compounds labeled with tritium and carbon-14; today Radium Institute produces about 130 items of labeled preparations and increases this list annually for 10 divided by 15 items. radiopharmaceuticals for medicine: gallium-67, indium-lll. iodine-123 and radionuclide generators with molibdenum-99 - technetium-99m and radium-226 - radon-224; alpha-, beta- and gamma-emitting radionuclide sources: broad variety of sealed sources for X-ray fluorescence analysis with iron-55. cadmium-109, americium-241 and curium-244; sources with gaseous krypton-85 for thickness gauge; radionuclide standards for spectrometry measurements and calibration; radionuclides including iron-55, cobalt-57, nickel-63, krypton-85, stroncium-85, stroncium-90, ruthenium-106, cadmium-109, tin-119m, iodine-125. iodine-129, barium-133. caesium-137, americium-241and radi-um-226 and radionuclide preparations on their base; Mossbauer sources on cobalt-57 and tin-119m including double-side and point sources and unique equipment for Mossbauer spectroscopy such as resonance scintillation detectors and precise data acquisition systems wit.
