摘要
Electronic transitions in poly-benzimidazobenzophenanthroline (BBL) have been modelled by applying ab initio Hartree-Fock techniques to the ground and triplet states of various molecular analogues. We find that the triplet states are strongly localized to a single unit cell, leading to a Frenkel exciton picture of the excited state. (C) 2001 Published by Elsevier Science B.V.
