The Ontological and Aesthetical Overcoming of W. Windelband's Philosophy in the Silver Age

The article demonstrates, that in Russia the Neo-Kantianism of the Baden School was profoundly analysed and had a tremendous impact. There are shown its strengths, such as the unity of the worl-dview, as well as its weaknesses, such as relativisation of the truth and the denial of ontology. The article explores two ways to overcome Windelband's philosophy: firstly, the ontological way of overcoming through the idea of all-unity and sophiology, which replaces the appeal to the idea of the national soul (Volksseele), secondly, the aesthetical way of overcoming through the foundation of re-creation of the reality in creativity, free theurgy. It reveals the unsolved contradiction between both presented directions of overcoming: between the sophianity of the being and its re-creation.
