Method for calculation of stress-strain state parameters in normal sections of structural members

摘要
The paper presents a general method of successive approximation (iterative method) for determination of stress-strain state parameters for normal sections subjected to external forces (bending moment and/or axial force) in the plane symmetry of the cross-section of the member. The proposed method allows determination of the bending moment and/or the longitudinal force values using concrete or reinforcement strains in compressive or tension zones. The method can be used for analysis of variously reinforced members made of different materials including layered members. Any loading stage can be analyzed. Non-curved line stress diagrams for materials can be used as well. It is possible to evaluate deviation of deformations from the hypothesis (Bernoulli's) that the cross-sections after deforming remain plane.
