Method of Driving Brushless DC Motor Based on High-Speed I2C Protocol

摘要
This paper proposes a novel approach by detecting brushless DC motor back EMF zero crossing point and using AVR MCU to drive and speed the three-phase BLDC motor with no position sensor; Then, a high-speed I(2)C protocol based communication control mod is presented to solve the problem such as general brushless electronic speed governor control, simultaneously control multiple hardware resources occupied by brushless motors, etc. The proposed method greatly improves control speed and more motor control is fulfilled through only two I / O ports, thus hardware resource is greatly saved. The experimental results verified the effect of proposed method.
