摘要
Many agencies provide psychiatric rehabilitation services to people living in housing owned or controlled by the same agency. ift times, a person's continued housing may be explicitly or implicitly contingent on his or her participation in the service plan deemed appropriate by the agency. Since recovery cannot be inspired or supported through coercion, linking participation in services with access to housing has the potential to undermine rehabilitation. By understanding and differentiating the roles and responsibilities of tenant, landlord, consumer and worker if is possible for the same agency to provide rehabilitation services and housing to the same person without using the housing as a lever to force compliance with treatment planning.
