New binary collectors with increased flotation efficiency

摘要
New binary synthesized collecting agents consisting of two N-acylated sarcosine fragments covalently, linked by a specific spacer element and having alkyl chains of different length are presented. The compounds are chosen as to offer possibilities to compare their flotative efficiency with known flotative agents (N-dodecanoylsarcosine or in combination with alkylammonium salts as co-collector). Based on the new structure of the binary collectors a distinctly improved recovery, of the mineral regarding the flotation of fluorite relative to sodium N-dodecanoylsarcosinate and the combination of sodium N-dodecanoylsarcosinate/dodecylammonium chloride is shown.
