摘要
The modular multilevel converter (MMC) is an efficient converter due to its use in medium and high-power applications. In this manuscript, the output performance of modular multilevel converter is presented by varying the arm parameter (such as arm inductance and arm capacitance) as well as modulation index. This paper has also shown the comparative analysis of MMC by using different multicarrier modulation techniques at different modulation index. The total harmonic distortion (THD) analysis is shown here. It has been observed that the THD is improved by using phase shifted modulation technique as compared to phase disposition modulation technique. The phase shifted modulation approach is more efficient than other modulation techniques. The output performance of voltage and current analysis have been obtained.
