摘要：
MPEG-7 has defined a set of standard descriptors for description and storage of the most commonly used features. Among them, the scalable color, color layout and edge histogram descriptors are three very powerful features for CBIR system, especially sketch-based image retrieval. Experiments in this paper show that combining color and texture features in CBIR system can lead to more accurate results for image retrieval.
