Psychological Capital at Work: Toward Understanding the Positive Effects of Ethical Leadership

摘要
We examined the role that psychological capital plays in the relationships between ethical leadership and followers' desired outcomes, such as job satisfaction, task performance, and voice behavior. The results from two field studies indicate a significant relationship between ethical leadership and psychological capital. A mediated model whereby psychological capital mediates relationships between ethical leadership and subordinates 'positive attitude and performance is also supported Theoretical and managerial implications of our results for understanding ethical leadership behaviors are discussed
