Matlab And CST MWS Based Rectangular Micro-strip Patch Antenna Design for WLAN Applications

摘要
This paper work grants simple design and analysis of Rectangular Micro Strip Patch Antenna (RMSPA) using MATLAB software and computer simulation technology microwave studio (CSTMWS) which are developed using method of micro strip feed line technique at 2.45 GHz designated frequency. In this paper work, the resonant frequency is 2.45 GHz, which is right for Bluetooth, microwave oven, mobile phones and various WCN applications. Here, we used FR4 lossy substrate material with their relative permittivity value is 4.4 (epsilon(r)), height of the substrate value is 1.6 mm (h or H-s) and thick ness of the substrate material value is 0.035 mm (t or H-t). The ground plane and patch are selected by copper annealed material and substrate is selected by FR4 lossy material. The rectangular micro strip patch using MATLAB and CST microwave studio software have been examined with several antenna parameters like return loss, VSWR value, Impedance value, Efficiency value, Radiation pattern, far-field Directivity value and far-field Gain values determined. The RMSPA is designed by using MATLAB 2018a (9.4.0.813654) software and CST Microwave Studio 2019 software (CST MWS).
